Overview and Gameplay

bit Generations: Orbital is a gravity-based action puzzle in which a small celestial body travels through compact space fields without direct steering. Attraction and repulsion bend its path around nearby masses, allowing it to enter or leave orbit.

Absorb smaller blue bodies to grow, then capture the designated yellow body as a satellite to complete the stage. Optional crescent moons can also be placed in orbit and recorded for each level. Six main galaxies contain 30 stages, followed by unlockable Extra and Final galaxies for a total of 40 stages.

Controls And Mechanics

The A Button applies attraction, while B applies repulsion. Select pauses movement and opens a wider view of the field, where the directional pad pans the camera. Gravity fields determine the body’s trajectory, and releasing an orbit launches it along its current path.

Gray bodies can be absorbed or captured as satellites. Larger red bodies and debris cost one life on contact, although growth can make some hazards safe to absorb. Satellites retained at the end of a stage grant extra lives. Score reflects absorbed bodies, captured satellites, and completion time, while each stage stores its best score, time, and moon status.
