Overview and Gameplay

bit Generations: Coloris is an abstract puzzle game built around changing colored panels and forming horizontal or vertical lines of three or more matching squares. Cleared panels disappear, panels above fall into the gaps, and consecutive matches create chains.

Clear Mode contains 15 Basic stages and 35 Advanced stages. Filling the meter completes a stage, while later puzzles expand the available color range. Score Mode continues until gray panels overwhelm the board. Two-player VS Mode sends gray panels into an opponent’s grid through successful clears and chains.

Controls And Mechanics

The directional pad moves the cursor, and the A Button shifts the selected panel one step toward the cursor’s current color. The frame above the board displays the next cursor color. Each normal panel has a limited lifespan and eventually becomes gray unless nearby clears refresh it.

Gray panels cannot form ordinary matches and prevent the Clear Mode meter from increasing. Clearing beside one twice removes it. X-marked panels erase both diagonals through their position, while circle-marked panels remove every panel of the same color. A gray circle panel clears all gray panels when activated. Filling the grid with gray panels ends the attempt.
