Overview and Gameplay
Sketch Turner is pulled into his own comic book, where the villain Mortus fills each panel with mutants, traps, and obstacles. Sketch must survive three episodes divided across six pages, clear enemies, solve environmental puzzles, and choose between branching routes on the way to the final battle. A Continue option resumes saved progress, while Multiplayer opens a separate two-player fighting mode.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves, crouches, rolls, and handles contextual actions. A performs punches, kicks, throws, and interactions, while B jumps. L selects and uses one of three inventory slots, and R blocks or activates an assigned style move. Health decreases from enemy attacks, special moves, and striking solid barriers. Roadkill attacks foes and reveals hidden items; iced tea restores health; knives, grenades, and bombs work as weapons or puzzle tools.
Linked multiplayer uses two systems and two cartridges for simultaneous Sketch-versus-Sketch matches. The winner empties the opponent’s health bar or has more health when time expires. Match settings include the timer, item frequency, and starting-health handicaps.
