Overview and Gameplay
Stuntman follows a professional driver performing dangerous vehicle sequences for six fictional films set in locations including England, Thailand, Egypt, and France. Each scene presents route arrows, timed checkpoints, and director instructions for jumps, skids, collisions, close passes, and precise stops. Completing enough required actions unlocks later productions, while salary and bonuses fund vehicles and arenas.
Career mode begins with training runs before moving into multi-scene film shoots. Filmography mode reopens completed scenes for practice and improved records. Precision Tests use timed obstacle courses, while Jump Tests challenge drivers to launch from ramps and collect airborne letters.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad steers, A accelerates, B brakes and reverses after stopping, R applies the handbrake, and L performs contextual actions such as nitro when prompted. Vehicle damage, missed instructions, expired timers, and insufficient stunt completion can end an attempt. Results track time, stunt accuracy, bonuses, and career earnings.
Two-player Game Link contests support simultaneous competition with two systems and two cartridges. Precision Tests reward the first driver to clear every station and finish. Jump Tests compare collected letters, with shared time extensions available during the event.
Version Notes
This North American cartridge includes selectable English, French, and Spanish. The Game Boy Advance edition uses a purpose-built polygonal engine and handheld-specific Career, Filmography, Precision Test, and Jump Test formats.
