Overview and Gameplay
Justice League: Chronicles presents three self-contained stories featuring paired heroes from the animated series. Green Lantern and Flash investigate an Arctic threat, Batman and Hawkgirl confront Gorilla Grodd and Amazo, while Superman and Wonder Woman oppose Vandal Savage during World War II.
Overhead stages contain enemy groups, switches, hazards, movable objects, and boss battles. Each episode also includes a character-specific action sequence. In solo play, the partner follows under computer control, and Select switches the active hero. Completing all three stories unlocks Martian Manhunter for the Watchtower Combat Simulator.
Controls And Mechanics
Use the Control Pad to move, A to attack, and B to jump. Repeated attacks create short combinations, while some heroes can charge an enhanced final strike. L activates the selected superpower, and R cycles between the hero’s two available powers.
Superpowers consume a rechargeable meter and include attacks, defensive abilities, and movement tools. Two players can fight simultaneously through the story using a Game Link Cable, with each participant controlling one member of the assigned pair.
