Overview and Gameplay
Looney Tunes: Back in Action follows Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as they search for the Blue Monkey Diamond and capture transformed studio executives called Munkeys. Four themed areas take place at the Wooden Nickel casino, the Louvre, Area 52, and the Jungle.
Each area contains 12 Munkeys. Capturing three and speaking with a Resistance character opens the next section, while finding all 12 completes the area. Boss battles lead into vehicle races, and collected Munnies unlock timed Bomb Drop Disposal bonus stages.
Controls And Mechanics
Bugs and Daffy can be switched during play. Bugs enters rabbit holes and can hover after jumping, while Daffy swims and extends jumps by fluttering. Projectiles, temporary power-ups, and special gizmos come from mailboxes; gizmos stun Munkeys before capture, and a compass points toward the nearest target or exit.
Each life has five energy points. Losing a life returns the character to the last restart point and removes carried gizmos and power-ups, while captured Munkeys and collected Munnies remain saved. The game begins with three lives and three continues.
