Overview and Gameplay
The Incredible Hulk follows Bruce Banner’s alter ego through a 33-level campaign against General Ross’s forces, the Leader’s Humanoids, Tyrannus, the Executioner, and Abomination. Isometric stages use combat, environmental hazards, destructible scenery, switches, hidden routes, and boss encounters.
Objectives include defeating enemy groups, breaking generators, crossing dangerous floors, smashing cracked walls, and carrying objects onto switches. Destruction earns SuperSmash and Rampage milestones that unlock stronger Rage Attacks for the current level.
Controls And Mechanics
Use the Control Pad to move in eight directions. A punches, picks up objects, and throws them, while B jumps. L performs a barge and R activates the available Rage Attack. Jumping attacks, thunderclaps, overhead smashes, and landing shock waves expand Hulk’s combat options.
Health regenerates when Hulk avoids damage, while Rage rises through attacking and taking hits. Hulkmatch supports two to four linked competitors who throw arena objects and fight under last-player-standing or kill-limit rules.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance edition uses an original isometric action design and a story based on classic Hulk comic material.
