Overview and Gameplay
Danny faces Dan Phantom, an evil future version of himself who threatens Amity Park and everyone close to him. Story Mode follows Danny through locations such as Casper High, the Ghost Zone, Clockwork’s lair, and the ruined future city.
Stages alternate between platform traversal, enclosed ghost battles, flight sequences, and boss encounters. Defeating enemies earns experience that raises Danny through ten levels and unlocks longer combos and stronger ghost powers. Completing Story Mode opens Mission Mode, where remixed stages add objectives involving time limits, enemy totals, combo targets, health, and power restrictions. Boss Arena and three score-based minigames provide additional challenges.
Controls And Mechanics
Danny can switch between human and ghost forms. Danny Fenton restores Ghost Power faster, while Danny Phantom can fly, fight ghosts, phase through certain walls, and use supernatural attacks. Basic strikes form multi-hit combinations, while selected powers consume the Ghost Power meter.
Ghost goo from defeated enemies can restore health, Ghost Power, or both through the Fenton Thermos. Temporary gadgets include the Ghost Bazooka, Light Blade, Ghost Gauntlets, Fenton Goggles, and Specter Deflector. Stage results record defeated enemies, maximum combo, completion time, and earned experience. Emptying the health meter causes Danny to pass out.
