Overview and Gameplay
Dexter’s Clone-a-Matic malfunctions after Dee Dee activates it, scattering miniature copies of her throughout the laboratory. Dexter must capture all 124 Dee Dees, repair 43 damaged machines, recover his tools, and return to the Clone-a-Matic before dinner.
The central laboratory connects eight main areas, including the Aviation Hangar, Greenhouse, Robotics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Nuclear Power Station, Space Port, and Dexter’s House. Each area contains four sections. Rescuing more Dee Dees unlocks new destinations, while colored files open matching doors and terminals.
Controls And Mechanics
Dexter explores isometric rooms, jumps across hazards, punches enemies, and uses the selected inventory item for repairs or interactions. The Grabber Arm captures a Dee Dee clone so Dexter can carry her to a suction tube. Repair tools include a screwdriver, spanner, hammer, pliers, power drill, and wiring tool.
The Zap-a-Tron attacks mechanical enemies, while the Splurgerator targets organic creatures; both use ammunition. Cupcakes restore health, hearts grant extra lives, and losing all health costs one life. Four save files store progress.
