Overview and Gameplay
Drill Dozer follows Jill, leader of the Red Dozers, as she pursues the Skullker gang and recovers the stolen Red Diamond. Eleven story stages lead through factories, museums, underground routes, and enemy strongholds filled with machinery, traps, breakable walls, and drill-based bosses.
Jill begins each stage in first gear and collects two temporary upgrades that increase drilling power and duration. Cleared areas can be revisited with stronger drill bits to open hidden routes and recover treasure. Chips purchase Energy Tanks, permanent bit upgrades, and maps for special stages.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves, crouches, aims the drill, and scouts nearby rooms. A jumps and performs a ground dash when combined with crouching. B interacts with doors, signs, switches, and calls. L rotates the drill counterclockwise, while R rotates it clockwise; holding either button sustains drilling and shifts into higher gears.
The drill breaks blocks, attacks enemies, turns machinery, deflects projectiles, and grips sockets used for lifts or rapid movement. Energy decreases when Jill takes damage, and continuing after defeat costs Chips. Optional treasures, special maps, and a hidden one-energy Hard Mode provide additional completion goals.
