Overview and Gameplay
Rookie defense attorney Ryuuichi Naruhodou represents clients accused of murder and searches for the evidence needed to prove their innocence. The story contains four cases that unlock in sequence. Investigation chapters let Naruhodou visit locations, examine scenes, question characters, and present evidence. Courtroom chapters center on witness testimony, cross-examination, and identifying contradictions.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the examination cursor and selects commands, answers, and testimony statements. The Court Record stores evidence and character profiles for review or presentation. During cross-examination, Naruhodou can press a statement for more detail or present evidence that conflicts with it. Incorrect evidence presentations remove one of five penalty marks; losing all five results in a guilty verdict. Progress can be suspended and saved during play.
