Overview and Gameplay
Black Hole invades Macro Land under Sturm’s command, forcing Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, and Green Earth to defend their territories. Battles unfold on grid-based maps where armies move units, attack enemies, capture properties, and deploy reinforcements in alternating turns. Campaign missions include headquarters captures, survival objectives, and assaults on Black Cannons, lasers, and pipe seams.
The campaign is divided into regional chapters with missions that can be tackled in different orders. War Room offers repeatable challenge maps, Battle Maps unlocks additional content, and Design Room supports custom battlefields. Victories receive grades for speed, power, and technique.
Controls And Mechanics
Cities and production facilities generate funds each turn. Bases build land units, airports deploy aircraft, and ports produce naval forces. Terrain affects movement and defense, while Fog of War restricts vision. Units track health, fuel, and ammunition, and commanding officers can activate CO Powers or stronger Super CO Powers after charging their meters.
The directional pad moves the cursor. A confirms orders, B cancels or shows attack ranges, L jumps to a unit awaiting orders, and R displays unit or terrain information. Start opens the overview map, while Select opens the map menu.
Multiplayer supports two to four armies through pass-and-play or Game Link Cable battles, including free-for-all matches and allied team play.
