Overview and Gameplay
Choose Axel, B.D. Joe, Gena, or Gus and pick up passengers across two city maps. Each fare has a destination and a personal countdown, so fast deliveries earn money while expired timers send passengers away without payment. Passenger colors indicate trip length, from short red fares to longer green routes.
Normal Rules adds time after successful deliveries, while fixed 3-minute, 5-minute, and 10-minute sessions challenge you to earn as much as possible before the main clock expires. Reaching an Awesome or Crazy rating unlocks the second city. Crazy Box contains nine driving challenges built around jumps, drifts, turns, speed, and precision.
Controls And Mechanics
Steer through traffic, accelerate, brake, and shift between Drive and Reverse. Crazy Dash provides a burst of speed, Limiter Cut strengthens consecutive dashes, and Crazy Drift slides the taxi through turns. Ramps enable Crazy Jumps, while close passes trigger Crazy Through bonuses. Chaining stunts raises tips, but collisions break Crazy Through chains.
The directional arrow, destination name, distance display, fare meter, passenger timer, and main clock guide each run. Options adjust starting time, passenger time, traffic density, sound, and three control layouts.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance adaptation uses Graphic State’s AGB Rush technology for 3D cities, traffic, and taxi driving. It retains four cabbies, two maps, advanced driving techniques, and a nine-event Crazy Box.
