Overview and Gameplay
Meteor X sends magnetic waves across Tokyo 2, driving giant monsters into a frenzy. Choose Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, or Megalon and clear eight Story Mode stages before confronting Mecha-King Ghidorah. Battles range from one-on-one fights to team encounters and four-monster free-for-alls. Custom Mode allows single-round matches with selectable opponents, arenas, teams, and CPU difficulty.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the monster, A performs high attacks, B performs low attacks, L blocks, and R jumps. Holding and releasing an attack button activates a charged special move. Successful attacks, blocking, and environmental destruction fill the Rage Meter, which powers character-specific Rage attacks. Buildings and vehicles can be destroyed, and some structures reveal health, Rage, speed, jump, status, or random-effect items. A monster loses when its health reaches zero. Scores reflect defeated opponents, destroyed objects, remaining health, and time. Game Link Cable battles support two to four players through Single-Pak or Multi-Pak play.
Version Notes
This Game Boy Advance edition uses overhead 2D arenas, six playable monsters, destructible environments, and dedicated link modes. It was designed as a handheld companion to Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee.
