Overview and Gameplay
Earth pilot Ian Recker infiltrates the alien Krill military during a war threatening humanity. His mission spans six planets and nearby starbases, where he gathers intelligence, solves environmental puzzles, finds equipment, and uncovers the purpose of the Krill invasion.
Top-down exploration shifts into horizontally scrolling shooter encounters when Recker is pulled into a living Krill ship. Destroying the required enemies returns him to the planet surface. Story choices and late-game actions lead to alternate endings, while cleared data preserves collected Gun Data for another route.
Controls And Mechanics
During exploration, the directional pad moves Recker, A uses the selected tool, B runs, L and R cycle tools, and Select opens the status screen. Tools reveal hidden objects, attack distant targets, cross gaps, and open blocked routes.
In shooter encounters, A fires, B increases ship speed, L activates a Smart Bomb, and R switches weapons. Cannon, Bullet, and Impact components form custom guns with different firing patterns and effects. Experience orbs from shooter enemies raise Recker’s level, while losing all HP causes a game over and returns progress to the last save.
