Overview and Gameplay
Kuru Kuru Kururin follows Kururin as he searches ten worlds for his missing siblings. Each top-down course requires the constantly rotating Helirin to pass through narrow corridors, moving barriers, and timed hazards without exhausting its hearts.
Adventure Mode begins with training stages and continues through 30 main stages across ten worlds. Practice Mode allows completed sections to be rehearsed, while Challenge Mode presents 50 short precision courses. Collected parts, paint colours, and rescued siblings can customize the Helirin in Make Up Mode.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the Helirin without changing its automatic rotation. A or B increases movement speed, and holding both produces the fastest speed. Springs reverse the direction of rotation, creating new angles for tight passages.
Wall or obstacle contact removes one heart and adds three seconds to the completion time. Checkpoints restore hearts, while losing every heart ends the attempt. Stage records track clear times and mistakes, with higher completion marks awarded for damage-free runs using the required Helirin length.
Link-cable VS Mode supports simultaneous races for up to four systems. Single Game Pak and Multi Game Pak play are available, with adjustable starting hearts and Helirin lengths for each competitor.
