Overview and Gameplay
CT Special Forces 3: BioTerror sends an international counter-terrorist unit against A.L.K., an organization developing genetically enhanced soldiers. The campaign spans 21 stages across five operations, with objectives involving hostage rescue, explosives, document recovery, vehicle combat, and boss encounters. Standard missions use side-scrolling shooting and platform movement, while other sections feature parachute descents, sniper assignments, underwater routes, helicopters, tanks, and rocket vehicles. Four-digit passwords restore progress to later stages.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves, crouches, climbs, swims, aims, steers, or drives according to the current section. A jumps, drops helicopter bombs, or fires vehicle missiles. B fires weapons and activates mission actions. L changes weapons, while R throws grenades or enters and exits supported vehicles. Health, lives, ammunition, grenades, and the selected weapon appear on the HUD. Special weapons use limited ammunition, and hidden CT symbols or successful hostage objectives can award extra lives. Two-player Challenge mode supports competitive battles across several areas.
