Overview and Gameplay
CT Special Forces sends an international counter-terrorist unit through 12 missions across snow-covered mountains, an arid desert, a hostile jungle, and a forbidden city. Standard stages use side-scrolling run-and-gun action with platforming, mines, bunkers, hostages, enemy vehicles, and mission targets. Other sections switch to parachute descents, first-person sniper assignments, and top-down helicopter combat. Numeric passwords record progress after completed missions.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad runs, crouches, aims upward, steers, or moves the sniper sight according to the current section. A jumps during platform stages and drops bombs from the helicopter. B fires weapons, uses selected equipment, and opens the parachute. L changes weapons or equipment, while R throws grenades. The default firearm has unlimited ammunition, but stronger weapons, rockets, flamethrower fuel, and grenades depend on pickups. Health, lives, ammunition, and grenades appear on the HUD. Two-player Challenge mode uses a Game Link Cable for simultaneous competitive time trials.
