Overview and Gameplay
Denki Blocks! sends a new puzzle competitor across Puzzle Island to challenge seven specialists and earn the title of Puzzle Master. Each opponent presents 25 puzzles, and completing 15 wins the match and awards a trophy. Objectives include joining every block of a specified color or arranging connected blocks into a displayed shape.
Tournament provides the main progression, while Training teaches the rules through guided lessons. Workout generates shape-building challenges from fixed block layouts, and Perfecto! asks the player to beat recorded move and time targets. Optional conditions award Denki Stars that unlock special puzzles in the Club.
Controls And Mechanics
A directional press slides every movable Gumblock one space. Blocks of the same color stick permanently when they touch, while fixed Blockers limit movement and create positioning opportunities. Later puzzles introduce Rogues, Plods, Painters, Jokers, locks, keys, gates, switches, Holders, and Stickers.
The B button reverses the most recent move, and the pause menu can restart the current puzzle. Shared-system multiplayer supports competitive Race, All Change!, and Battle modes. Participants take turns using one Game Boy Advance, with Battle assigning colors and awarding victory to the first participant who connects every matching block.
