Overview and Gameplay
Mega Man Battle Network 4.5: Real Operation places the player in the role of a NetNavi operator. Choose from an expanding roster of Navis, enter interconnected Internet areas, complete jobs, earn licenses, and register for tournaments scheduled through the in-game clock and calendar. Progress opens stronger opponents, deeper network zones, upgrades, and additional playable Navis.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves the Navi during exploration and changes targets, distance, or chip selection in battle. The Navi attacks autonomously while the operator sends Battle Chips from a rotating set when the Custom Gauge permits. B reshuffles the available chips, L and R trigger equipped Navi abilities, and Select activates a valid Program Advance.
Virus battles award Battle Chips according to Busting Level. Zenny buys supplies, while SubChips restore health, suppress weaker encounters, or open locked Mystery Data. Two players can connect separate Game Boy Advance systems for simultaneous NetBattles using single-match or best-of-three formats.
Version Notes
This edition applies an unofficial English fan translation to the original Japanese release. The localization translates text and graphics and makes Battle Chip Gate-linked Navi content obtainable through normal play.
