Overview and Gameplay

Hammy loses his television signal and turns a golf lesson from his friends into a destructive neighborhood miniature-golf challenge. Each course asks him to reach the hole or complete a special objective within a set par limit.

Before taking a shot, Hammy explores the overhead course and moves objects to create a useful route. The player then switches to another Over the Hedge character, chooses a direction, and sets shot power with a timing meter. Story Mode unlocks additional courses, playable characters, Arcade content, and harder challenges.

Controls And Mechanics

Courses contain bumpers, pipes, fans, angled blocks, movable obstacles, and breakable targets. Shots can ricochet from walls or travel through course devices to reach the goal, collect objects, or strike required targets.

Par limits the number of shots available for each objective. Completed courses award nuts that unlock more content. Local multiplayer lets up to four people compete by taking turns on one Game Boy Advance and passing the system between shots.

Version Notes

The Game Boy Advance edition uses a miniature-golf format created specifically for the handheld. Other releases with the same title use different game designs.
