Overview and Gameplay
Rayman: 10th Anniversary contains Rayman Advance and Rayman 3 on one cartridge. Rayman Advance follows Rayman across six themed worlds as he pursues Mr. Dark, frees Electoons from 102 cages, defeats bosses, and gains powers such as the telescopic fist, helicopter descent, running, and grappling.
Rayman 3 sends Rayman through four side-scrolling worlds while he searches for Globox, frees Teensies, collects Yellow Lums, and opens routes to later stages. Each game keeps its own campaign, maps, collectibles, and save progress.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad moves Rayman, A jumps and activates helicopter movement, and B throws or charges his fist. Rayman Advance uses R for running and certain stage actions. Rayman 3 uses L for wall climbing and R for a ground pound.
In Rayman Advance, 100 Tings grant an extra life, photographers mark checkpoints, and power items restore health or improve fist attacks. Rayman 3 uses Red Lums for health, Silver Lums for extra lives, Green Lums as checkpoints, and Purple Lums as grapple points. Its link-cable modes support competitive rocket battles, tag contests, races, and arena matches.
