Overview and Gameplay
The King of Fighters EX: NeoBlood follows a new tournament secretly organized by Geese Howard as he pursues Orochi’s power. Team Play uses three active fighters and one Striker, with each defeated fighter replaced by the next team member. Single Play uses one fighter with Striker support, while Survival, Time Attack, and Practice provide additional solo modes.
The roster includes Kyo Kusanagi, Terry Bogard, Ryo Sakazaki, Leona, Athena Asamiya, and newcomer Moe Habana. Clearing Team Play with specific teams unlocks Iori Yagami, Geese Howard, and additional Strikers.
Controls And Mechanics
Directional inputs handle walking, crouching, jumping, blocking, running, and character-specific special moves. Weak and strong punches and kicks support throws, rolls, knockdown attacks, short jumps, and combo sequences.
Attacks and damage fill a POW gauge that stores up to three stocks. Desperation Moves, guard cancels, Counter Mode, and Armor Mode consume stored power. Striker calls use a limited supply of Striker Bombs. Two-player link battles support Team Battle and Single Battle.
