Overview and Gameplay
Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler turns monster cards into pieces on a 5-by-5 board. Choose a character and Super Power, arrange themed maps in a Linkage Map, and set the number of Victory Stars required to win. Domino Park is available first, while completed matches unlock additional characters, maps, and board formations.
Each turn begins by drawing a monster and assigning cards to the Summon Dice. The rolled monster determines movement distance. Landing on an occupied space starts a duel, and victory summons the monster onto the board while awarding Victory Stars equal to its level.
Controls And Mechanics
Use the Control Pad to navigate menus and move the cursor. A confirms choices and performs Soul Shuffle when tapped during a dice roll, while B cancels selections or rolls the die. Higher-level monsters require tributes before summoning.
Monster battles compare ATK and DEF according to battle position. Duel Dice effects can reverse positions or reduce a monster’s statistics. A competitor also wins by becoming the final active character after every opponent loses all Life Points. Game Link Cable matches support two to four competitors using separate systems and cartridges.
