Overview and Gameplay
Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup follows Hogwarts training, the four-house Quidditch Cup, and an international tournament. Passing, tackling, shooting, Beater, and Seeker challenges award Quidditch Cards and unlock higher broom difficulties, stadiums, special moves, and teams. Winning the Hogwarts Cup opens an eight-match World Cup featuring national squads including England, Japan, France, Australia, and Bulgaria.
Controls And Mechanics
The directional pad steers a Chaser, aims passes, and selects a scoring hoop. A passes, shoots, or tackles, while B performs a dodge. Successful passes and tackles fill a Power Bar used for special shots, tackles, and team moves. Quaffle goals score 10 points, team moves score 30, and catching the Golden Snitch awards 150 points and ends the match.
During the Seeker chase, the directional pad follows the Snitch trail, A activates boost, and B hinders the opposing Seeker. Two linked Game Boy Advance systems support simultaneous competitive Exhibition matches.
