Overview and Gameplay
A human awakens as a Pokémon in a world facing a series of natural disasters. A personality test selects the hero species, and the player chooses a partner before forming a rescue team.
Missions arrive through story events, the team mailbox, and the Pelipper Post Office bulletin board. Objectives include rescuing stranded Pokémon, finding items, escorting clients, and reaching targets on deeper floors. Completing jobs earns rewards and Rescue Points that raise the team’s rank.
Dungeon layouts, enemies, stairways, and items change between visits. Experience levels, learned moves, IQ skills, Friend Areas, and recruited Pokémon expand the available team.
Controls And Mechanics
Movement and combat share a turn-based grid, so each action allows enemies to respond. Regular attacks, Pokémon moves, thrown items, Seeds, Berries, and Wonder Orbs handle different ranges and effects. Moves consume PP, while the Belly meter falls during exploration and requires food.
Defeat returns the team to base, removes all carried Poké and some items, and preserves earned experience. Money stored at Felicity Bank and items kept at Kangaskhan Storage remain safe.
Friend Rescue lets another player complete a separate rescue mission after a defeat. Wonder Mail passwords and Game Link Cable transfers support rescue data and item exchange.
